Two 'Coffee With a Cop' Sessions Scheduled in January

The next two sessions of the Fort Morgan Police Department’s “Coffee With a Cop” program are set for late January.

The Fort Morgan Museum will host a program where patrons can share the unique histories behind their personal mementoes in an adult show and tell format.

Rec Center Designates Days for Basketball, Soccer

Due to heavy use of the gym at the City of Fort Morgan’s Armory Recreation Center, the Rec Department has decided to designate certain nights and times for basketball use and other nights for soccer play.

Effective Wednesday, Jan. 10, Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 to 8 p.m. will be designated for basketball play, and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m. will be for soccer only.

Children's Library to Remain Closed

The Children’s Library downstairs in the Fort Morgan Library & Museum building will continue to be closed for an undetermined amount of time while repairs and reconstruction are being done.

City of Fort Morgan residents can recycle their Christmas trees from now through the end of January.

Recycling the trees helps save space at the landfill and provides mulch for landscaping at city parks and other facilities throughout the city.

Adult Pickleball Two Evenings a Week at Green Acres

A free pickleball open gym for adults 18 years and older is held twice weekly through the Fort Morgan Recreation Department at the Green Acres Elementary School gym.
